5.0 out of 5 stars That's My Idea of Hell 22 May 2006
A unnamed man wakes up to find himself locked in a tiny, cramped unlit concrete space, in which he can hardly move.

Why is he there and where did he come from. All we know is that he has a terrible stomach injury and is slowly bleeding to death. He begins to explore the narrow confines of his maze-like prison. Horrible visions of hell wait for him at each end of the space. That's my idea of Hell!

1.0 out of 5 stars Just look at the minutes... 28 Mar 2007
Yes, before you even think about buying this movie, take into consideration that the length is 49 minutes.

And it is 49 minutes of boredom! Besides being a short movie, 95% of it is spent in the dark and you really have some troubles trying to understand the camera angles.

I know the movie sounds original and it may have some innovation, but I didn't even understand the plot.

1.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to watch........ 3 Dec 2010
Although this film is short, I am sure you will feel like an eternity has passed after watching. The film is difficult to watch due to poor lighting and camera angles, which arguably have been done on purpose to add "effect" but its detracts from the film, and makes it damn near impossible to understand what on earth is going on. I did find myself watching the running time just for it to end. I think the idea of this in principle sounds amazing but its poorly executed on screen. The ending will make you pause for thought, but I had difficulty in working out what was going on. This is certainly not an easy watch and is likely to leave you scratching your head!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nightmare 9 Feb 2014

This is like watching the worst nightmare you've ever had, which in my opinion makes it brilliant horror. I am a fan of true terror in horror films, this delivers and then some.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you are claustrophobic... 21 Jun 2014
By bRA1N-b0X - Published on
...this will be your worst nightmare. Even if you aren't claustrophobic, you might become so. This is a true depiction of hell. Endless struggle, no time for simple comforts such as rhyme or reason, and hope is continually dashed the moment it decides to find its way back into your heart. This is primal horror. It is physical and mental, simultaneously. There is no superfluous action or imagery here: it is all to give you a sense of unease, perpetual anxiety, and oppressively enclosed confusion. It may be a little difficult for some to enjoy or get anything out of, since the movie doesn't spoon-feed you explanations or concrete (sorry for the pun, I guess) context. There is next to no dialogue, the camera shots are tight and change a lot, and you are left to create the story in your own mind with what it gives you. It isn't very long, but it is long on tension and draws you in despite yourself.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was somewhat engrossing, though the ending seemed somewhat pointless. 17 May 2014
By Tyler Presley - Published on
It was somewhat engrossing, though the ending seemed somewhat pointless. It did well at creating that fear of being stuck in a very bad situation and not knowing how you got there or what is going on. I suppose it could be explained as short term memory loss due to an extreme trauma, and then regaining memory of your situation when being exposed to your original environment.
