Product Description

Product Description

A classic size/format flapped pouch initially developed for carrying assault-rifle magazines and water-bottles, Hazard 4's adds a fast-access but secure draw-string gusset, and accordion front- pocket so it can do more. Now even loose items will be secure inside and modern electronics like the iphone® can be carried under the flap in the flat-pocket securely. The addition of the standard MOLLE back and perminent attachment straps allow it to weave right onto the modular packs and bag. Use it for larger walkie-talkies, water, rations, batteries, munitions, etc.

Excellent little pouch which I am using as a Comd pouch. Fits a couple of waterproof notebooks, GPS and a selection of pens/pencils. I like the tie cord and the additional flap at the front is a nice size for a compass. Looks 'Ally'. It is well made and fits easily to Molle style webbing.

I bought this to fit a big nalgene bottle as an add on for my Hazard 4 Kato. As such its fits great and was the perfect addition. With them both being Hazard4 the colour match was perfect.

HASH(0x96099f9c) out of 5 stars I really like this pouch! 2 Feb. 2014
By KW Post - Published on Amazon.com

OK. It is a water bottle pouch. Big deal, right!? Well, yes and no.

I have a number of bottle pouches. Some hold more, some less, and some have better insolation. What I like about this particular pouch is that is low profile (it seems to be part of the bag it is attached too), and the clip closing is greatly preferred to a zipper. YMMV.

Another little appreciated feature of this pouch is that the lid can be flipped backwards and clipped underneath. This makes a very nice and secure belt loop. It also makes accessing the contents very easy on the go.

The only real limitation with this pouch is that it will hold a 32 oz bottle IF the bottle tapers / narrows from top to bottom. Even then, it is a snug (not too tight) fit.

The side pals webbing is useful for carrying a sunglass case or a smartphone pouch.

Overall, I like it and would recommend it.

HASH(0x9609c204) out of 5 stars Great bottle holder after some modifications. 25 Jan. 2015
By Donald R. Poling - Published on Amazon.com

Nice little bag but the size is a bit outdated for civilian use. A nalgene 32 oz WIDE mouth bottle with a flat lid will fit inside very tightly with no modifications but if you use, like I do, 32 or 40 oz water bottles with narrow mouths or aftermarket lids like HumanGear that are taller than the basic nalgene with a flat lid, you will have to modify this bag. It doesn't really show in the picture but on the cinch strap there is a D ring that is double stitched onto the cinch strap to allow easy adjustment. If you, very carefully without cutting the actual strap, cut the stitching and take out the d-ring, you can fit up to a 40 oz narrow mouth or 32 oz bottle with aftermarket lids into this bag. I like this little pod very much since it lies flat against the bag and the molle straps cinch it very tightly so it is not flopping around as well as just holding a water bottle without a ton of other pockets, but with a price tag of over $30, they should really adjust the size to today's standard uses.

HASH(0x9609c1c8) out of 5 stars Too Small 22 May 2013

While Hazzard 4 makes great products, this is not at the top of the list. It is too small and will basically fit an 18oz bottle. I would highly suggest you purchase the Maxpedition Water Bottle holder as it can fit a 40oz bottle. Both quality products, just a question of capacity.

HASH(0x9609c51c) out of 5 stars Wow! Top Quality. 10 Jan. 2014

I bought an EDC pack that has lots of molle on the outside, but no place for a water bottle. This thing is perfect! I attached it to the side of my pack, and only use it when I need a water bottle. It collapses nicely when there is no bottle in it, and holds the bottle snugly when I use it. I like the adjustable strap on the bottom for my taller bottles, and there is a little pocket on the front (open top, so be careful) that I keep a firestarter in (the firestarter is on a cord which I wrap around the molle on the side of the Bottle Pouch so I don't lose it). This is extremely durable, as it is made of Cordura. Hazard 4 has a big winner here- I looked at many other bottle pouches, but nothing compared. This has it all, and is a great value for the price. Looks awesome too.
