I guess I bought this out of curiousity, but it's actually grown on me a lot since I bought it. Pete Best and his friends have done a good job, with an album which sounds very much influenced by both Revolver-era Beatles and so-called "indie rock", and the result actually means it has equal appeal to both fans of The Beatles, as well as general "Classic rock" fans, even though it's a recent release. The tracks are all originals, written by the group members, and show some good songwriting, as well as some interesting arrangements. I guess my favourite track is "Beat Street", which is an instrumental. If there is any problem with this album, it's that Pete doesn't sing, but that doesn't matter. Pete Best clearly had a lot of involvement in the songwriting, since the lyrics sound very "autobiographic".
Sorry if my review isn't the best, but I like this album and I'd like to see more people enjoy it.
