Made from strong durable plastic, that tolerated my cat sitting on!
Product was fairly difficult to assemble as the rigid plastic was hard to assemble on your own as had to be bent into the relevant shape, however, once assemble works well. Vegetables have flourished under it and the ventilation has ensured the air gets through to the seeds.
The clear plastic means it is not an eyesore in the garden and apart from the odd dent in the plastic it looks good.

Put it together this evening in about 20 mins - not difficult with 2 of us - both ladies with very little DIY experience. One person held the plastic & the other fed it into the groove - Just follow the instructions carefully & go slowly.

The cloche wasn't easy to put together. I bought 3 and by the third, the 2 of us had discoverd the knack of putting it together without tears. The first attempt was quite painful. It is a fiddly job, getting small bolts through the right holes. It might have been easier if they had been a bit longer. A magnetic screwdriver would also have helped. The plus point is that the manufacturers included a screw driver and spanner in the pack, so no need to hunt around for the right tools. In all 3 cases, the plastic was fractionally too long, which produced a kink after assembly. This is only apparent when you get to the final stage. Unless you are meticulous, you give up and live with it (otherwise it woud be a matter of undoing it all and trimming the plastic).
To sum up, if patience is not your virtue and you can't find an assistant - do not buy this. I have given it 4 stars because the product does look so much more attractive than other cloches - but those kinks are a bit annoying!

Tough job!
