The creation of the DH60 Moth in 1925 led to a family of light aeroplanes which continued to evolve until the very eve of World War II. A very good summation of the various Moths produced by De Havilland over the pre-war years - lots of glorious photos and plenty of technical detail - almost a must for the scale modeller.

This weighty tome is beautifully produced with a skilful blend of pre-war and contemporary photographs. Stuart McKay is one of the founders of the Moth Club and he has distilled the knowledge that he has gained over the years in to this single volume. A surprising number of the different types of Moth survive and there are active clubs to cater for their enthusiasts worldwide. Indeed I have just had a Skype conversation with an Australian pal who received this book as a Christmas present and he agrees that this is indeed going to become the source book for all Moth knowledge.
