More About the Author

Andrew Murray is a children's writer who lives in London. His friends think he has too many weird ideas and eats too much cheese. Andrew likes stormy nights, and books about long ago and faraway places. He likes cats too, as long as they don't leave hairs on his cheese.

Buddy and Elvis is in TV development with the Illuminated Film Company

Andrew has also written some quiz books - the official Tolkien Quiz Book, Halliwell's Film Quiz book and the Sherlock Holmes Quiz Book. He has forgotten most of the answers.

Andrew believes he is the only person in the world who enjoys Game of Thrones. Don't tell him.

Chester the cat and Buddy the dog live with Lucy, their little girl owner. They are always fighting. One day Chester has enough and he slips through the cat flap and doesn't come home. Lucy is very sad and tried everything to help bring Chester home. Buddy starts to miss Chester too. He takes matters into his own hands and goes on a search for him. Will he be able to bring him home? Read Have you Seen Chester to find out!

This is a great friendship story. It shows that even friends fight sometimes.

I would recommend this book for kids ages 4-8. The illustrations are bright and bold. They remind me of comic book illustrations.

I think this book is adorable and has a great moral about appreciating others, despite their potentially annoying ways..
