This special compilation focus on the best guests of the recent series including Ronnie Corbett, William Hague, Louis Theroux, Jeremy Clarkson, Neil Kinnock and the one and only Boris Johnson. In fact the set includes a whole separate bonus disc devoted just to Boris and his peculiar ramblings/insightful commentaries. There’s also plenty from the various guest presenters, as well as Merton and Hislop, with tons of jokes and deleted sequences never before seen on TV.

When are Hat-trick going to get their act together and publish a boxed set of all 34 series, whatever the price? I for one want to watch those jokes about the German ambassador again.

This is a must have DVD the highlights from 4 series Late 2003 to early 2005. Containing an extra bonus disc with hilarious Boris Johnson in the chair in full. BUY THIS NOW!!

Well, it really doesn't need an introduction, we all know how great Have I got News For You is, I have been to the live recordings, I have all the DVDs and the tapes!! This DVD however is one of the greats! If you want laugh out loud funny, sided splitting, uncontrollable fun, this is the DVD for you. I know political comedy isn't for anyone but you really dont need to know too much about the world, or care too much about politics to find this DVD funny. You may miss what some of the jokes mean but when you have Ian Hislop and Paul Merton commenting on photos from all over the world....or on their weekly magazine (my personal favorite!) you wont care about the odd joke missed because the rest is just pure genius!! This DVD has some of the best there has been though, your a Jeremy Clarkson fan I hear you say....why would you want to watch this rubbish.....well I reply....HE IS ON HERE!! Really there is something for everyone on this DVD and if you have a couple of pounds to spend and a couple of hours to relax and laugh then get this DVD and you will not be disappointed!! Forget QI for a start and this new show nightly...well forget that too!! What you really need is Have I Got News For You best of the guest presenters...its original its funny and its tradition...great English tradition!!!

Still funny
The extras are ok but there could have been more. That said it is still very funny stuff.

Works a lot better on DVD
Works very well as a DVD, although some of the topicality is difficult to maintain, enough stories maintain an interest to still be as funny as when broadcast. Read more
