What a great book to learn the basics of punjabi! Kids love it, I love it and the grandparents love it. Only gripe is where are words like kiddah and sat sri akal etc but otherwise a good buy and it works!

This book is a perfect starting point for young children to get to grips with the basics of Panjabi. Sadly, I know far too many young people who have no basic knowledge of the language because it has disappeared in many homes. The book is colourful and well structured and covers the basics perfectly. It is a great, fun way of keeping children connected to their mother tongue and inspires me to learn more about my language and heritage. Looking forward to book two!
