The Me First & The Gimme Gimmes are punk legends in their own right. There is little more fun in this life than that had from taking old classics of the 60s and 70s and playing them t opunk music. Listening to the brilliance of Mandy on this album all summer made the Westlife version all the more laughable when it finally came out. Sweet Caroline will change the way you view Neil Diamond for the rest of your life.

I love this album. It is not as slick or well-produced as their most recent albums but it is still an awesome, awesome buy that your friends will continually borrow. So tell then just to buy their own copy. They know they want to.

Some excellent covers, with the Gimmes as usual making songs their own, as only they seem to be able to convingly do. Not quite up to the five star Blowin in the wind or Take a break due to one or two slightly ropey tracks, namely uptown girl and leaving on a jetplane, but even they are still better than most bands doing covers, Otherwise superb punky fun
