Barney is Back - and appears to be in the middle of an episode of Scooby Doo,
By
This review is from: The Haunting of Barney Thomson (Book 6) (Paperback)
Strange goings on in the small fishing town where Barney has began to settle down looking for a quiet life. However, this would not be a Barney Thompson novel if murder and dark deeds were not around. This is one of the better Barney Books. As usual, black humour and debates about Russain philosophers are the core of the novel. There are some old faces back (Erin Proudfoot) and some familar characters from the past few novels, noticeably Igor (Arf). It is those five pesky kids and the Dog with no name from M16 that seperate this from other Barney novels. Brilliant humour, great one off lines, extremely well written, brilliant ending.
I loved it, but then I am a Barney junkie
