5.0 out of 5 stars BEWARE - EACH BOOK IS PUBLISHED UNDER TWO TITLES 16 Dec 2007
By Mr
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The Mediator books are great stories but before you buy - BEWARE. The title list implies there are 12 "Mediator" book titles by Meg Cabot whereas there are only 6, but each book is published under 2 different titles (why?). For information: "Mediator 1 - Love You To Death" ISBN 0 330437372 is identical to "Shadowland (Mediator)" ISBN 0060725117; "Mediator 2 - High Stakes" ISBN 0330437380 is identical to "Ninth Key (Mediator)" ISBN 0060725125; "Mediator 3 - Mean Spirits" ISBN 0330437399 is identical to "Reunion (Mediator)" ISBN 0060725133; "Mediator 4 - Young Blood" ISBN 0330437402 is identical to "Darkest Hour (Mediator)" ISBN 0060725141; "Mediator 5 - Grave Doubts" ISBN 0330418335 is identical to "Haunted (Mediator)" ISBN 0060751649; and "Mediator 6 - Heaven Sent" ISBN 0330434829 is identical to "Twilight (Mediator)" ISBN 0060724692.

5.0 out of 5 stars ten out of ten 4 May 2003
Format:Hardcover
In this new installment of the mediatior series, we find suze facing someone from her past. Paul Slater is now attending the academy, and seems set on having Suze all for himself. Paul swears he can tell Suze who and what she really is, but can she trust him. Meanwhile things are getting more complicated with Jesse and it doesn't help that suze doesn't tell him that Paul Slater is back in town. What will Suze do. Another great book from Meg Cabot, can't wait for the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't read this review if you like surprises!!! 25 Mar 2004
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I loved this book. I read the other four in the series about two years ago and I couldn't put them down! This is by far the best of them, though - which is saying something. Basically, Paul Slater (from book four) is back and going to Suze's school. He keeps on trying to tell her about what they are and they (surprise, surprise) kiss. However, Jesse (the hot ghost living in her room) doesn't know she's back and when he finds out he gets more than a little angry. He goes to live (okay, not LIVE exactly, since he's dead) in the rectory with Father Dominic and Suze is really upset. Brad (AKA Dopey, Suze's stepbrother) has this party while the parental units are away one night, and Paul comes along. Jesse (who's preparing to move out) sees him and Paul informs Jesse that he and Suze kissed. Jesse is really pissed and punches Paul - they start fighting, but of course no one but Paul and Suze can see Jesse so it looks like Paul is beating himself up. It's very cool. It all ends happily, though - Cee Cee (Suze's best friend) realises that Jesse is a ghost and then Jesse and Suze admit to each other that they love each other. READ THIS BOOK - IT RULES!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK! 23 Feb 2005
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I've read this book, and this is well good. When I started reading it I couldn't get my eyes of it, not even for a second.
This 5th book of the mediator series, is very interesting. When Suze finds out that Paul is back, she's horrified. Paul threatens her that if she doesn't goes out with him he'll make Jesse disappear forever... Suze loves Jesse a lot. When she accidentally kisses Paul, she tries to hide it from Jesse, but is shattered when she finds out that Jesse is moving to the rectory with father Dom.
When Paul tells Jesse about kissing Suze, he gets on his nerve, and Jesses gets into a fight with him. It was very much hillarious at the end. After the fighting and all that, Suze and Jesse express their feelings to each other...
READ IT! ITS WELL GOOD!

5.0 out of 5 stars A tale of the Mediator 16 Feb 2004
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Meg cabot is an outstanding author. She is a twenty first centuary Jane Austen and a younger Judy Blume!
The Mediator is hard to let go, book after book always leaves you wanting more! Although Susannah has supernatural abilitys and goes to a typical American school, I feel this book relates to all teenage girls on a personal level.
What I really like about the Mediator is that Meg cabot takes an ordianry girl gives her supernatural abilitys and makes it almost believeable.
The Mediator and other books by Meg Cabot are inspiring! If you have read & loved 1-800 where are you I strongly recomend The mediator as a must read!!
