Product Description

Product Description

Spirit, Texas, is a town of secrets, and as the new owner of the local haunted movie theater, Cody Stryker is juggling more than his fair share. When a mysterious new girl comes to town and runs afoul of the ghost that lives in his theater, Cody’s caught in the middle and needs to figure out exactly who he can trust. HAUNTED LOVE is a short story by New York Times Bestseller Cynthia Leitich Smith -- set in the same dark universe as her novels TANTALIZE, ETERNAL, and BLESSED. This story includes a sneak preview of Cynthia Leitich Smith’s latest novel, DIABOLICAL, which unites characters from the previous three novels in the Tantalize Series along with a fascinating cast of all-new characters for a suspenseful, action-packed clash between the forces of heaven and hell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining,good short story, 29 Dec 2011
This review is from: Haunted Love (Free short story) (Kindle Edition)
The title of this short story made me think it would be my type of thing.I felt for Cody,on his own struggglin to get the old cimema back up and running.A teenager with secrets,a cimema with a ghost out for revenge and a pretty girl who is somthing else altogether. This is a quick read, entertaining and quite thrilling.I thouroughly enjoyed it and could have quite happily carried on reading about Cody and his small town cinema.

3.0 out of 5 stars Haunted Love, 17 Dec 2011
This review is from: Haunted Love (Free short story) (Kindle Edition)
As a born again reader I stumbled across this short story by accident. I found the writing style unusual as its less descriptive than the norm however it lended itself very well to the storyline that has an imaginitive twist at the end. All in all a very enjoyable read and I intend to follow it up with other titles from this author.
