The extensive historical research of the locations coupled with actual experiences makes this a superb read. This will appeal to people who have an interest in the paranormal not just in Leicester. Andrew Wright gives the impression that he does this for the love of it. I only bought this today and 5 of my friends have been reading it. I may have to buy another copy.

I live in Leicester not far from some of the places mentioned in this book. Has some ok pics and interesting info but not as entertaining as I thought it would be.

I too enjoyed the book, lots of historical facts about the city, some tales which have been handed down by the generations and then the author has tried to tie any spooky goings on to any suspicious events in the area.

The use of language and various slang terms would maybe make more sense to someone with knowledge of the midlands and could prove quite interesting to those outside the area.

I was very happy to see the whole chapter on Braunstone Hall and the Winstanly family and also interested to read about Sir Herbert Marshall along with tales of Lady Jane Gray and Bradgate Park.

Very interesting, a short but insightful book.
