I bought this system back in May 2011 for my baby due in September 2011. Within 6 weeks I had to have the back wheels and brakes replaced as they were making a clicking noise, due to being off their cogs. The hood on the car seat was torn at both sides and then handles used to put the pushchair up and down were sticking.
Then at 17 weeks, I have had to take it back again as the back wheels are pulling apart, apparently due to the frame being warped. I have only started walking with it over the past three weeks so it hasn't had a lot of hard work to do and wth ony the baby, isn't getting very much abuse. I am very careful with equpment as I was hoping it would last for another chld but it won't even serve the frst.
Hauck are being very unhelpful and say they only give 6 months warranty and I can't prove I didn't use it before the baby was born?????
It seemed a great system to start with but would strongly reccommend to anyone considering it to research more reviews as I have since found a lot of complaints about it.

I bought this travel system over the internet without seeing it and also without going to look at any other travel systems (TS) in shops etc.
There are both good points and bad points to the TS. Overall I feel it is great for the feature of using the newborn car seat and the carry cot (although we only used it once!) Once my baby was too big for the car seat I did not like the pram as just a buggy, if that makes any sense.
The brake made a funny noise from day one.
The hood falls down continuosly making it look quite scruffy.
My baby NEVER EVER slept in the buggy (once the car seat was not used) she must have found it very uncomfortable.
The cheap material makes a loud rustling noise and when you release the car seat and try and lift the seat belt over the car seat to take it out of the car, the noise woke my baby up every time. This meant that even if she had just fell asleep, she always woke up straight away. This was very annoying if I was getting home with shopping and wanting to put it away as my daughter woke up everytime.
The whole pram is very big and heavy and I went to mothercare today (my daughter is now 7 months old) as I had enough of this buggy. Although for the first 6 months it was more than sufficient if you are on a budget.

I have rated this item with 3 stars only, because there are a few things I don't like about it:
- it doesn't fold as easily as in this presentation video, you need to apply pressure : [...]
- the raincover cannot be fit over the carrycot, it can be used only with the pushchair
- the wheels make a very lound noise
- there is no suspension whatsoever, so if you live in a city with cobbled streets, like I do, your baby will have very bumpy rides
- I have never used the change bag, I find it quite uncomfortable and ugly
What I like about it are the handles: you can hang your shopping bags and let the baby carry your shopping :)
If I were to buy a travel system again, I would look for one with bigger wheels, preferably rubber tyled, not plastic.

Great value
I can't wait for my baby to arrive so I can use this, it looks wonderful and is great value. One bad point if I have to raise one is the red isn't as bright as on photos on here.
