Joining the absurd and the logically violent 26 Dec. 2001
By death metal and black metal - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This album is the most powerful yet from Sinister, and while it does not rise to underground acclaim of "Cross the Styx," it is a more fully developed style of death metal which here saturates the listener with internal conflicts justified in explosive songs. The title is appropriate. A former bassist takes up guitar duties and in the mist of pounding but precise battery, places a synthesis of melody within ongoing change in song.

Total intellegent brutality! 28 Mar. 2001
By N. Jacobs - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I still may prefer their excellent album, "Diabolical Summoning" to this one, but "Hate" is also an excellent release. Sinister tunes down the technicality on this one, but they retain their blast beats and crushing riffs. The songs on here are all great, especially "Awaiting The Absu" and "Art of the Damned." This is one of the best death metal releases ever.

A death metal masterpice 18 Jan. 2007
By A. Fenton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This album will blow you away. It begins with a cool atmospheric intro and continues with variety, brutality, some catchiness, and is just plain killer!!!!!! Every song is a different experience. The only flaw is that the production is muffled a bit. Its a must have!!!!!!!!!!

Brutality! 28 May 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Killer album: shredding riffs, pounding drums, the works! There is only one guitarist on this album, and the overall sound is rather linear. Nevertheless, one you pop the disc in your player, you are hooked! GET IT! Check out Embodiment of Chaos.....awesome intro!
