But in Hash Wensley Clarkson explores the dark and sinister side of this multi-billion pound business: one fuelled by a brutal underworld network of dealers, hitmen, drug barons, drug mules, bent cops and even terrorists. Sex, intimidation, bribery and murder are all employed in a quest for staggering profits. 1.0 out of 5 stars I feel robbed! 20 Jun 2013
Format:Paperback
Although ive Bought Wensley Clarksons Work before,im shocked by the inacuracy of this book-for instance,he asserts that mules who swallow hash are risking their lives through poisoning, when its an unrefuted medical fact you'd have to eat more than your own weight in hash to die![all that happens if a hash ball were to burst would be a very stoned mule.He also mentions a piece of hash conficated in Afghanistan 'the size of a football field'The timing of the book is poor,as over the last 10 years hash has become almost non existant in the uk because of the amount of 'homegrown' skunk-something Clarkson regularly calls 'hash' right the way through. He either has a hatred of the drug or maybe accuracy doesnt concern him, maybe all his books are fraught with inacuracies [like a blooming uk hash making industry, lol].This book is sensationalist rubbish, either hes been misinformed regularly or doesnt care to right the truth.utter rubbish.

Il say the same as i said after i read brinks matt by wensley clarkson, its ok, but if you want to read a good book by this author stick with public enemy number 1, thats a great book. Still a few pages from finishing this but pretty bored if im honest, it jumps around a lot and it is rather blown out of proportion, theres better books out there . . . .

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your time!!!! 27 Jun 2013
Format:Paperback
I had to read this book to believe it. After a friend read it and declared it to be the biggest load of rubbish he EVER read (and he reads lots of rubbish)
Not sure who this guy has done his research on. Probably hardcore heroin and crack dealers. Hash is not responsible for all the worlds ill's. It does not cause prostitution or global weapon dealers, although people involved in these industries may indulge in it's use.
It does not cause mental health issues, like modern society does. Look at any alleged victim of mental health and then look at their place in society and all the other problems they are facing. Cannabis and hash always get the blame for everything bad in the world.
I don't see many people listening to Bob Marley saying "yeah this bloke is mental"
The latest big tabloid news story that blamed cannabis was the horrific murder of the actress by her own brother. He the defendant was obviously a very unstable man. What did the police and press blame...... you guessed it!!
THIS BOOK IS A JOKE, I DEPOSITED EXACTLY WHERE IT BELONGS. THE RECYCLING BIN. I WILL NOT BE BUYING THIS AUTHORS RUBBISH AGAIN.
