Fun:
None of these games are the proper board game version. Twister is a dance game where you have to copy the rhythm by pressing buttons and is boring. Cluedo is truely terrible, it's nothing like the board game and is basically a game of "let's just guess the answer" rather than there being a discernable way of working out it out. The game of life is playable, but has many faults. After playing these three games we could not be bothered to play the rest, judging that they will probably be just as rubbish as the ones we'd played. I am very disappointed in this game, after having high hopes for actually playing the proper versions of these games, but on the wii. I do not recommend this at all, save your money and buy something else.

Fun:
Was quite excited at the prospect of re-visiting some of the games from my childhood and was subsequently disappointed when I started to play. The opening sequence and graphics promise sophisticated gameplay but the reality is quite different.

The game of life is really the only game that works well in this format and we enjoyed several games before tiring of it. Could not make any sense of cluedo - failed to finish a game. Yahtzee is not like any game of yahtzee I've played before and the incessant trill of 'hands down' drove me to distraction. Mouse Trap is quite like the original but it loses something in translation. It's just not as exciting as the board game. I don't recall the other game - don't think I played it.

I can see that it would appeal to young children but in my opinion holds little appeal for adults beyond a game or two.

Family Fun Night? 16 Jan 2011
By SueK
Fun:
Hmmm...I don't think so. Cluedo & Yahtzee - very different to the board game. Very confusing to play/understand and there are totally no instructions that come with the pack and they are impossible to find any instructions on line. Basically - the only games we even look at playing is Mousetrap (which is a little bit better) and Life (which is good). Twister - pretty ordinary.

My 6 and 8 year old board gamers and us adults were left very underwhelmed by this purchase!

It's nice game for children between 7 to 13
Nice game to play with friends, even if you can not expect the game to be like the actual bored games. As this is for a console, the rules and the game layout it's different. Read more
