My daughter likes to play with her fun factory but can't work it herself as it requires a good deal of adult strength to force the play doh through. It also forces the dough around the sides and quite frankly I don't see why it was designed with so many places for the dough to get stuck (other than for a considerable amount to dry out and poor mum being forced to buy another tub). It takes some picking and cleaning to get all the dough out again and I have to be around for the end of the play to avoid lots of waste. Saying that it is good fun to play with my daughter using it but I know she is frustrated by the amount of contact I have with her toy because she can't do it herself. If you press the lever too hard it pops off of its pins. The tubs of dough are not standard sizes i.e. are small and I had to buy some extra dough to make it worthwhile using. Save your money for something better thought through.

simple starter set. All my 4 year old wants to do when he plays with play doh is squeeze it through this machine. Its easy for him to do by himself.

The fun factory is a great addition to the play doh range. It enhances the creative possibilities of the child. It quite correctly says from 3 years as a certain amount of strength is needed to force the doh through the machine. Well worth buying.
