I bought this as one of my grandson's birthday presents. He was so excited but unfortunately we have to play it every time he comes! It teaches strategy, planning and observations but of course there is an element of luck as with most games. It is just right for the age group 9 years upwards and I would definitely recommend it as a suitable present.

great game my nine year old son loves it and it doubles as two toys as when he is not playing the game he uses the little figures to play with

This game makes a good 4 player alternative to normal risk, however I'd rather play normal risk 95% of the time.
