Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Bop It Extreme is a new craze for teenagers both young and old. Aimed at players aged eight years and above, this lively game is sure to test reflexes and coordination to the extreme.

The idea of the game is to keep to the beat. This is done while hitting, twisting, pulling and flicking parts of the Bop It in response to inbuilt pre-recorded verbal instructions (or musical equivalents depending on the game selected). There are four games that can either be played by one player using one of the two solo options or by two or more players in groups. Full instructions are included.

Bop It Extreme has several spoken commands and musical rhythms. It is attractively designed and comfortable to handle. Addictive is barely enough to describe the gameplay--once you pick this one up, you won't be able to stop yourself from bopping to the beat and beating that Bop It. --Ben King

"Bop it extreme" is a totally addictive game. You can play alone or with a group of friends, and it will drive you mad! The game begins when you press the "Bop it" button at the centre of the game and you are given one of 5 instructions, each requiring an immediate action! You will be told to "Bop it", "Flick it", "Twist it" "Spin it" or "Pull it". Each instruction relates to a part of the game and if you don't act straight away you are laughed at by the toy!!! As you get better, the game gets faster. This game has kept me entertained with friends for many an hour. It is suitable for adults and older children (aged 8 upwards) and you will be fighting over it for your next turn! Go on, give it a go!!

What a brilliant Christmas present! Everyone in the family has been addicted to the Bop It Extreme since it was unwrapped on Christmas morning. It has made an excellent party game, especially when attempted by drunken participants! Our highest score so far is 101 by Lydia...We challenge anyone to beat that!!...xx

Bop It Extreme is a eletronic toy from Hasbro. It have 5 commands. Bop It! Twist It! Pull It! Flick It! Spin It! A ling ling ling! Crazy Frog does not like Bop It Extreme! When you reach to 150 points or more, when you end the game, you will hear a victory celebration, then your score! But if you reach to 250 points, you won! You will hear a victroy celebration, then the jackpot score! 250! If you don't get near 150, you will not hear a victory celebration. Instead, you will hear, "Owwwww!" and then Bop It will end the game. Your score will be anounced in different sounds
The bop it sound: 1 point
The twist it sound: 10 points
The pull it sound: 100 points
You can play solo or with your friends. Complete to the beat with Bop It Extreme.

That's the point of Bop It Extreme - If you're too late in obeying the commands it humourously blurts out, then you lose.
The toy feels like holding an old fashioned racing car steering wheel in both hands. At each extreme are plastic 'switches' that are designed for quick flicking, twisting, spinning and pulling and, in the centre, the Bop It button. With the aid of a not-too-loud speaker, a jaunty electro beat starts and a voice shouts randomly to "Pull It" or one of the other commands.
The reaction time expected is fairly steep - there's no room for wondering momentarily where the spinny-thing is - and the beat gets progressively faster the more you remain undefeated. A friend of mine got ninety four - it was going like the clappers.
To put it into context:- if you're a kid looking for a new toy then try and convince whoever is holding the purse strings by saying that adults can have real fun with Bop It Extreme as well.
Five friends and I took it on a weekend holiday recently. There were six grown ups and we couldn't put it down, it was so much fun. There's a team option, so that all can play, and of course you can go it alone and try to beat the highest score.
Well, it could last quite a few afternoons with enough enthusiasm, but educational value? It doesn't have any - that's why it's fun!
