Amazing game! This requires no batteries and actually works! When you knock the balls into the gators mouth it's tail flicks up and returns the ball to you and you know what it works, the first game I have ever bought for my son which actually works exactly as the adverts etc show!
It's so easy to assemble as well and the putters break down into 3 parts for storage. Each putter also has a scoring marker on the side which my son loves. Well worth the pennies for the many hours of fun we have had with it already.

I brought this game for my 3 year old for Christmas.
The game consists of an aligator, 2 balls and 2 golf clubs. Everything in the game is made from plastic which appears to be very durable and is easy to wipe clean. The clubs are child sized and are easy to handle. It is very easy to set up and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The gator also doubles up as a storage device for when the game is not in use, which is extremley useful.
There is no pencil and paper needed as both golf clubs have counters on to keep your scores, which is handy (and may even help youngsters with counting and numbers). My daughter loves it when she putts the ball into the aligators mouth and the ball is tossed back to her.
The game is recommended for children 3 years onwards - I don't think the game is a hazard for under 3's but it may just be hard for them to grasp. My 3 year old loves this game but isn't very good at it yet and her 5 year old cousin also loves this game but is slightly better at it. I think Gator Golf would be enjoyed by children upto around 9 years of age, although I probably wouldn't buy for children over 7 years of age. It's also a unisex game so both girls and boys can enjoy it.
In my opinion Gator Golf is such a simple idea but one that appears to really grab children's concentrations and is fun for everyone. The game also encourages hand-eye coordination. An added bonus is that this game requires no batteries, woo!
The only real downside to this game is that you need to open the gators jaw each time the ball is putted. It's not too much of a problem but it's still a little frustrating.
