Bought this as a present for my 23 yr old daughter who is a monopoly nut!! She totally loves everything about it. She loves the instant message cards instead of community chest etc.

The Boutique Edition of Monopoly is cute, and it's perfect for girls. When they outgrow the pink game after moving through the pink phase of their lives . . . if they ever do . . . they can keep the game for a unique collector's item. There is only one problem though: it can be obtained in local stores for less money. I suppose if you have to travel very far to a store to buy it, pay sales tax, and then pay to mail it to a friend out of town, you cannot beat this deal.

My daughter and I had so much fun playing this game. It's just like the original monopoly but with a girl twist. There are boutiques and malls instead of houses and hotels. There are ice cream store, candy store, etc. for the spaces instead of Virginia ave. The box the game comes in is really cute too! If I remember right the mirror is not real. It's plastic. That part wasn't really important to us though. she was more interested in the game which is made of a higher quality. The board is very thick and the pieces are very nice. I do agree with the other reviews about the price.
