The classic fast thinking categories game. Try to match categories using words that start with the same letter. Score points if no other player matches your answers.
You've got 10 seconds to write down a dessert, a farm animal and a four-letter word, all beginning with the letter S. Get points for writing down things no one else did. Didn't have Sticky Toffee Pudding, Sheep and Save? You get 3 points! The more creative the answers, the more points you could score. Seek the unique and take on 12 categories in 3 minutes or less. With more than 140 categories and 20 letters on the die, no game is ever the same.

This is one of the most easiest yet most frustrating games that you can play. For example when faced with a series of questions such as; something you find in a classroom, a sandwich filling, a capital city, beginning with the same letter, it seems quite easy until you are playing against the clock, and each set of questions change every time you shake the lettered dice. This game has been a real favourite within my family for many years ( especially at Christmas when you can play in teams) and I am so fed up with lending it out to my niece that I decided to buy her one for Christmas this year!!But seriously for great fun and banter it is one of the best board games on the market, and exceptional value for money!

Scattegories is one of the most fun games to play! A definite buy if you are up for a laugh - although it's expensive it is most definitely worth it!

First played this game in the US which was for up to 6 people and slightly different to the product in the UK. Was disappointed with the UK game (only up to 4 players) as expecting the same but nonetheless it's a great game to play and the contents are quite substantial. Worth purchasing.
