Trivial Pursuit Team isn't really much to do with the original Trivial Pursuit, except for the wedges and the categories. It is a great game in its own right though, adding plenty of variety with the different question types (multiple choice, name six, are you the expert? etc.) and the suggestive clues to what the question cards might be about makes choosing which category to be asked extra fun.
However, it has one glaring flaw, which is its pathetic lifespan. The more standard Trivial Pursuit comes with 400 cards, each with 6 questions on for a total of 2400 questions, so it'll last for ages. This game comes with 360 cards, but not only do most have only one question on (a few have either a set of 3 related questions, or a choice of an easy or hard question), but a of the 36 cards that make up each "deck", 6 cards don't have any questions on at all.
Each "deck" constitutes one game, but with only 30 question cards it doesn't last long. You only get 12 games out of this before it'll start to repeat itself.
It has one other disadvantage when compared to the standard trivial pursuit board, where no matter how far you are behind, you can still win. In this game as you score points for questions and there are a finite number of question cards in each round, one team can win before the end of the (short lived) game.
