This book is nothing short of amazing! After spending months reading scientific papers on the subject (I am a scientist myself), trying to understand what is happening to my sinuses and nose, I finally found the right source. The book is so well written you will feel you've become an ENT specialist after reading it, and you surely gonna find yourself somewhere there and benefit greatly.

It is also the only source of scientific authority I have found that links rhinitis to the presence of gluten or dairy allergies - usually only complementary/alternative therapists refer to this. In my case, I have been following a strict gluten-dairy-sugar free diet for a month now and the results are so (positively) dramatic that neither me nor the people around me can believe it - not sure if it's an allergy case but for some reason it works! I frequently go back to the book for advice and surely tracking down the causes of sinusitis is not an easy task. It is very unlikely though that you will find a doctor (here I can speak safely for the UK NHS doctors) that will help you more than this book.

I am so glad that I purchased this book, it has literally been a God send. The book is very easy to understand, that making it very easy to read and digest. One of the main things I gained from reading this book, was the recommended use of Humidifier, which I purchased and saw a change in my symptoms instantly. I have suffered with sinus problems for two years now and have undergone two operations, none of which have been very successful. Since being diagnosed with chronic sinusitis no one ever recommended using a humidifier, but I would suggest if you suffer with nasal congestion like I do then do purchase one. I bought the Medisana ultrabreeze one, which you can get on here. It also was very good concerning recommending different medication and treatment approaches. Every sinsus sufferer should read this book!

I have suffered from chronic sinus problems for many years, probably triggered by excessive use of insecticides when working overseas. I had surgery, breathed in sprays, visited doctors, all to no avail. My final visit to an ENT specialist suggested I try sniffing salt water up my nose before bed and after getting up. I was prepared to try anything. I have now carried out this procedure for about 6 years. It has helped enormously.

Reading this book has helped even more since I now finally understand how all this works. It is a hugely complex subject, explained simply. Everything is covered, from the anatomy of the sinuses, what they do and how they do it, the many different things that can go wrong and why, and what can be expected from the various courses of action, both at home and through the medical route... also gives an indication of where more recent research is leading for future sufferers.

If you have sinusitis, or an allergy affecting the sinuses, you absolutely should read this book. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
