A rather unique statue based on a costume Mikuru is seen wearing in a specific piece of official artwork, this certainly stands out from the crowd in a number of ways.
The sculpt is very, very good; it's very evocative of our timid time-traveller, and even with this unique look she's easily recognisable. The pose is nothing hugely special and is probably more designed to show off the costume and sculpt, but it's still very characteristic of Mikuru. Her hairdo is well represented and is just the right shade of colour, although she seems to have about twice the amount of hair she did in the anime!
Of course, the main attraction is the costume, and it doesn't dissapoint. The actual design of the costume may or may not appeal to you considering the specific type of fashion it evokes, but the detailing is undeniably very impressive. Every detail has been paid attention, including minute things like ribbon and lace, all of which is PVC rather than simply painted on. You can certainly see where your money is going here, and they even throw in a little touch of metal content as well, both in the belt chain (which is actually a separate piece) and the nameplate on the stand. It's a nice touch, especially for the chain, and adds that little something special.
Paint is perfectly acceptable, there's some minute slop here and there but it's nothing huge that detracts from the display value of the figure. QC is also positive, it's a solid and heavy figure, but obviously still be careful with it considering those loose belts. There's always a risk of breakages with small parts.
Overall, a lovely figure, and your only obstacles should be whether or not you like the design and, of course, the price. It IS quite steep, but you're definitely getting quality.
