I am proud that Ireland has produced a sports book that is up there with those written by Phil Jackson, Vince Lombardi and Clive Woodward. This book gives a great insight into Gaelic footballs place in rural Ireland. At the heart of the story is the importance of family and community. He gives an honest account of how he was affected by the deaths of two of his players and how he dealt with this personally and as a leader to others affected by these tragedies. It is remarkable how he and his team have travelled from tragedy to triumph. This book is a great story of success and failure; it will be a great read for gaa fans but also for those interested in sport in general, in coaching, business, religion and faith.
