I was searching for a Harry Potter-style magic wand for a fancy dress party, but found a lot of the toy ones were very expensive or too big. This was a decent size, came in four (relatively) easy to screw together pieces, and looked great. The sticker book is pretty decent too, for those who like that kind of thing. It's a handy budget alternative to the more expensive, elaborate toy wands on the market, and makes a fun little present for the Harry Potter fan who has everything.

The wand is so cheaply made it snapped while sticking it together. Cue lots of tears from 7 year old son. The sticker book offers at best 2 minutes consolation as it contains only 8 stickers. Avoid or at least pay less than a pound for it.

Wanderful!
Cheap and made of plastic but when screwed together creates a fully working wand that looks like Harry Potter's. Just what we wanted.

Wizards wand
I purchased two of these wands and whilst they looked good, they both broke within 24 hours. To make the wand You have to screw the separate pieces together. Read more
