Ich habe jetzt zwei Übersetzungen gelesen, Band 1 und 3. Die Übersetzungen erreichen nicht die sprachliche Qualität des Originals, z.B. Hagrids Slang fällt völlig unter den Tisch und die Übersetzung von einzelnen Namen und Ausdrücken ist uneinheitlich. Zudem wird nicht alles übersetzt, wichtige Passagen werden einfach ausgelassen, z.B. die Passage, in der Prof. Lupin Harry erklärt, warum ihm das Vertrauen von Prof. Dumbledore so wichtig ist und warum er unter Gewissensbissen gelitten hat.

Zusammenfassend kann ich nur sagen, dass mit diese Bücher wesentlich besser und witziger hätte übersetzen können.

Bought this, very pleased to be able to buy a foreign product from a uk seller. Have since found out that you can get this in MP3 format on CDs, which makes it much smaller and 3 CDs instead of 9! Not sure if amazon do the MP3 version yet but would definitely recommend looking for it instead.
