Sorting Hat 5 Jun 2010
Format:Paperback
I think all these running press items are fantastic value for money. You don't mind them being plastic at that price and the detail is fantastic. I have the snitch, the sorting hat and the time turner.

It's small enough to be an ornament but still gives fun ocassionally when someone remembers and shakes it to see what house they would be in. Usually they keep shaking it until it says Gryfffindor!

Format:Paperback
This box contains a booklet of stickers with photos from the first Harry Potter movie, and a miniature Sorting Hat. The Sorting Hat is made of plastic with good details, and if you turn it over, there's a little ball in fluid. The letter that is turned up, tells you in which house you are sorted (G for Gryffindor, H for Hufflepuff, etc). Well, you can turn and shake it until you get the desired result.
It won't keep the kids occupied very long.
It's a nice little object to put on your desk or on a shelf with your other Harry Potter and LOTR collector's items.
If you're not a Potter fan, it's probably not worth even this low price.

I like it. 4 May 2011
Format:Paperback
I like the look of this figurine.
It looks really good next to the snitch and the hedwig owl that I had already bought.
The only thing that I would say it lacked in was that the bit where it says your house is really hard to read. Mainly because the water is so dark and murky and the lettering isnt very bright or recognisable.
It looks good on your shelf though.

The item itself was not what i expected but the seller has been very helpful. But it will go to use for pass the parcel or party bag content. Not a birthday gift.

The mini sorting hat is a good replica of the sorting hat, the magic 8 ball technology is sometimes tricky to see, i found if you tip it upside down a few times if you cannot see... Read more

Relegated to Slytherin
Item itself is not too bad, looks great but my main problem is that the sorting doesn't work. All I see is green liquid filling the entire bottom of the hat. Read more

Difficult to see what house you've got!
This is a cute miniature replica of the sorting hat and feels quite solid. It's nice as a kid's ornament to go with other HP stuff like the snitch. Read more

Sorting Hat
It looked good and my daughter was well pleased with it until she tried to read what it said. You simply couldn't make out what the hat said. Very disappointing.
