This cute movie by William Dear stars John Lithgow as a family man who befriends a Sasquatch (a.k.a. Bigfoot) and brings the friendly monster's oversized, hairy self into his Seattle home. Mayhem and comedy ensue, but things take a heavier turn when a hunter (David Suchet) gets on the creature's trail. Everything hinges on the relationship between Lithgow's character and Harry (the Sasquatch), and that relationship is really quite effective and touching. Don Ameche is a hoot as an old guy who has dreamed of meeting Bigfoot all his life and finally gets the glorious chance. --Tom Keogh

As a child i remember watching this film all the time, it was one of my favourites. So when i saw it was on TV a few weeks ago, i decided to watch it. To my surprise i sat through the whole film and absolutely loved it! So i straight away came on Amazon and bought it.

It is a classic for all the family and everyone will love it no matter what there age. it is hilarious, moving and Bigfoot still looks fantastic.

I usually like to buy the more action packed violent movie, but this was truly irresistable.

Go on, give it a go.

This is a timeless movie and all children - and quite a few adults- will revel in the power of the message which the film really contains.
The Big-Foot comes across as still having all that basic innocence with which we were all sent into this world and which - for those of us who are human (!) we seem to have lost.
