Once again there are (brilliant) reviews of "Harry Black" all placed by Amazon under ALL versions. This is so misleading tho luckily in this case it seems the Spanish version is good too. Odeon Entertainment have released a really cracking Cinemascope film here. First class print, colour and sound (which is so vital to the atmosphere of the hunt), so no problems on that score. I have waited for decades for this film to be released and whilst my memories failed to be 100% accurate I still enjoyed the film - a lot. Yes, it is a bit long and I wasn't too happy with Barabara Rush, but Granger/Steel/I. S. Johar all work well. The photography and direction, particulaly of the hunt(s) are spectacular, and right up there with the best. For fans of Granger and those who, like me, have waited for this film - well you won't be disapointed. Only 4 stars because, despite my enthusiasm and enjoyment I have to say that in places it fails to keep up the pace and tension of the hunt. (And yes, the subject might just upset some folk because of the tiger which must be killed because it's a maneater). Overall-Thankyou Odeon for the opportunity to see a good British Film in all it's glory.
