This wonderful childrens film is all about a young girl called Harriet,whos ambition to be a writer, and in preperation for this, she writes downeverything she sees in her notebook. However, when this falls into thewrong hands, things go terribly wrong for Harriet and she is left with nofriends apart from her nanny.
This is a pretty good film really. The storyline is good, the scripts ok,even the acting is not bad, especially for saying how old the children inthe film are. Notice Vanessa Lee Chester who plays Becky the servant girlin 'A Little Princess'.
Overall a nice film for children which is clean and may even teach them afew lessons about friendships and how to keep them. Buy this if you havekids but otherwise save your money.

Harriet is a ten year old girl who whants to become a spy and goes on many adventures. Will her obsessive diary keeping take on a bigger role than she intended? Has Harriet gone crazy? When one of her friends finds her diary and reads it out to her class mates all hell breaks loose.
Harriet is alienated and sets out to get her revenge.

I liked this movie because Harriet is the same age as me and is individual and strong. I enjoyed the dramatic and sad plot which then has a happy outcome. It is a good portrait of how mean children can be to each other and then make friends again.
I would recomend this movie for anyone that likes excitement and drama.

this fantastic piece of work does an unbelievable amount of justice to the fantastic book by Louise Fitzhugh!! Michelle Trachtenberg shines! A must see for spy fans everywhere.
