The NipperGripper 14 Oct 2011
By Sarah
What a difference it made to our ski holiday this year. My personal fear is getting the little ones safely on to the chairlift but with the NipperGripper you can grab a handle on the back OR the front and just hoist them on safely with one hand, your other free to carry your gear or hold onto the chair. Most of the ski school harnesses just have a grip on the back but the front one does make a great addition. My 3 year old spent a lot of his time snowploughing down and then landing on his back not moving, waiting for me to pick him up - so easy to do with the front grip. It is simple to put on, you don't get tangled in endless straps (which i did with one i had for my older boys) and it is inexpensive. And obviously holding the straps while they are skiing instead of bending over with them between your legs is far kinder on your back and thighs! We will be using it again next year. Thank you whoever invented this.

Nippergrip 20 Feb 2012
By Pad
If you're thinking of taking your child skiing for the first time, this is a must have product! I took my 3 year old skiing for his first time this year and this made the whole trip worthwhile, as he could ski with me anywhere. You don't have to worry about them not being able to slow down or turning etc, as you can just ski behind them and help them do it all with the reins. Plus getting them onto chair lifts or picking them up when they've fallen over is a lot earier with the handles. Worth every penny, and i'd recommend it to anyone.

As grandparents we can't praise Nippergrip highly enough. The strong handles, harness and reins remove any anxiety from being responsible for the under fives on the ski slopes. It is especially helpful in getting them on and off ski lifts quickly. When they fall over in the snow whether on their front or back you can to pull them up quickly before tears start. The reins help them to feel independent, but you stay in control. We're not surprised to learn the design evolved within a family, as a response to their own needs. It's so easy to use and really versatile -in fact we have an extra one to use in the UK for our grandchildren learning to ride bicycles! Every skiing family with young children should buy one [it makes an excellent Christmas gift too!].
