Would highly recommend this book to any one who enjoys a fiery paranormal romance. this book can be read without reading Megan's Mark first, but some of the characters from the first book do appear again, and one becomes a main character. this book is about a female breed called Harmony who meets Lance, a human, at a bar and spends the night with him. without realising what she is doing, she creates a strong bond with him that means that they cannot be apart too much (in more ways than one!). whilst trying to deal with what is happening to them, they have to find who it is that is trying to track down and set up Harmony for kills that she did not make. This book is well worth a read and can be read in less than 2 days.

I really love this series. As highly sexual as the books are, there is real heart at the depths. The romances sizzle and this book didn't disappoint. The sheriff Lance and assassin Harmony certainly set the bed on fire and the love between them was so warm and strong.
The story arc is really building now and there are some new revelations that raised my eyebrows. I can't wait to read the next book.

Well worth reading
This book isn't as good as Megans Mark or Tanners Scheme but is still good. You do really feel for the characters and enjoy their inter-play. Read more
