In both sections there are guidelines at the beginning of each chapter to help you create your own garments. The instructions and pictures are very clear.
In the Aran section there are plenty of stitches to choose from. There are a few patterns, jumper, hat, gloves.
In the Fair Isle section there are plenty of motifs, border and peerie patterns to choose from in the traditional style. Again there are a few patterns beret, gloves and vest.
I have collected all the Harmony guides and they are a very good asset to any knitter's library. It is very hard to decide which stitches to use as there are so many to choose from. Happy knitting.
