The JBL On Stage is an AC powered speaker system compatible with all versions of the iPod, including the iPod mini. A stereo mini jack connection also allows you to enjoy high quality audio from a variety of other devices such as MP3 and CD players, desktop computers (all platforms) and laptops. Bring your On Stage on the road for great sound where ever you go. The lightweight, compact sound station can provide full rich sound in any location.The OnePoint iPod connectors provide the connection to your computer. Connect the standard iPod cable to the rear of the On Stage and every time you dock your iPod, you will have a connection for synchronizing and charging. The On Stage provides power to charge your iPod when not connected to the computer, even if the system is off. Plug your iPod wall charger into the back of the On Stage and your iPod will charge with or without the system on. Adaptors for all iPod types are provided for easy use of any generation. An auxiliary audio input cable is also included. The surface gripping rubber feet provide a stable platform on most surfaces. The JBL On Stage combines many proprietary technologies to provide the highest quality sound. The On Stage will provide astonishing bass and clear accurate sound. The four aluminum domed transducers are driven by powerful Neodymium magnets. This design provides a full rich frequency response from the lowest bass to the highest highs. The JBL On Stage system equalization was computer optimized to provide a rich, complete sound stage. The JBL On Stage utilizes a proprietary compression technology to insure clean accurate sound at high output levels.

Small speakers with a big sound,

We just got one of these for our bedroom. We needed speakers that were powerfull enough to fill the room but were compact enough to sit on a chest of drawers. The JBL On-Stage fitted the bill perfectly. Truely impressive sound from such a small speaker set, easy to use and good looking too. You won't be dissapointed.

This is a neat, easily transported speaker system for ipods of all shapes and sizes. It looks like a little white doughnut, takes up very little space, shows off the ipod's looks to the maximum, is mindblowingly easy to use and the sound is, frankly spectacular. It's in my view vastly superior in looks and value for money to the much hyped and vast Bose tombstone-shaped affair. It packs the kind of punch and clarity you'd expect from a system twice the size and price. Clever little white plastic adapters mean all ipods fit neatly into place and look right at home (no wires are needed, except for the first generation pods). And it even charges your ipod while you listen. Highly recommended.

I got the JBL speakers to play my I-pod mini on and they are BRILLIANT. My dad knows a lot about acoustics etc so we tried numerous different ones. The first one we bought was cheaper however when we got back and tried it out I was very disappointed to find that it made a kind of crackly buzzing noise even turned down very low. But the JBL is amazing: the sound quality is great, even for me and I know nothing about sound but i can tell this is good - it was really easy for me to set up and get to work (although make sure you push your I-pod in hard enough! Maybe it's just me..)It's SO easy to use and a great addition to your I-Pod. It's not the cheapest one out there but it does seem to be very very good in comparison.
