Product Description

Product Description

Having played out every trick on the fine citizens of Gotham City, Harley Quinn--the Joker's former girlfriend--decides that another city deserves her attention. After all, why menace one city when you can menace two? Especially if the second has a Man of Steel guarding it.

Harley hightails it to Metropolis, with allies Poison Ivy and Bizarro in tow. Writer Karl Kesel and artist Terry Dodson continue their now classic run on this beloved title in HARLEY QUINN: WELCOME TO METROPOLIS, collecting issues #14-25.

About the Author

Karl Kesel is one of the most successful artists to come out of DC's New Talent program, and also counts Jack Kirby as a major influence on his work -- while having a fondness for Kirby's quirky character creations. Kesel built a solid reputation as a respected inker on such titles as SUPERMAN and SUICIDE SQUAD in addition to his efforts as a writer on HARLEY QUINN, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN and SUPERBOY.

A very good story to ease into Harley Quinn. Though I do prefer the new 52 compared to the oldies.

5.0 out of 5 stars ... such a fan of Harley Quinn and I just love the adorable cover art of her and her best ... 20 Sep 2014

I'm such a fan of Harley Quinn and I just love the adorable cover art of her and her best gal pal, Poison Ivy! Their adventures are, as expected, quirky and full of trouble!! The art is just pure awesome (and possibly my favorite art of these two vixens) and the stories are really entertaining!

I have to say that I will always love and prefer classic blonde, jester outfit Harley better than the new 52's version of her in that half black, half red hair and sexy outfit.
4.0 out of 5 stars Too Much Bizzaro 26 Sep 2014

I love Poison Ivy, and I though Harley was written really well in this volume. Sometimes she can be a little annoying, but I found her enjoyable to read about here. However, Bizzaro drives me insane so that kept me from loving this collection.

Fun reading, love the Dobson's art. Stories were just entertaining, not 'deep and brooding' like the present publications. .

I collect all Catwoman comics and this is a great story in the adventures of everyone's favorite feline thief.

5.0 out of 5 stars Harley in Metropolis! What could go wrong...go wrong...go wrong... 5 May 2014
By Eric Oppen - Published on
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Having made Gotham City too hot to hold them, Our Heroines (Poison Ivy is along for the ride) hit Metropolis. Little do they realize that not only will they face Superman, but Jimmy Olsen, and...most dangerous of all...Bizarro! And then things get really weird.
