I bought this book intrigued by the setting. I find the whole idea of harems very interesting and was pleased that this book was written well. I was not disappointed.

When I read Prince's Courtesan I wasn't sure you could top Jaida. She rocked and kicked ass! I mean she gave her prince a run for his money...for years!
But I really loved Keliana in a completely different way. She was soft, sweet and she wanted freedom to love. What woman doesn't? Jareth... (insert sigh) Lord! That man made my blood sizzle! He was hot, sexy and so damn commanding I didn't know if to be angry or smile at his attitude. I know, I have issues. The story was so different it really caught my attention. I'd never read of a Harem Mistress before. It was intriguing as well as the world they lived in. I felt for Keliana and while there were times I wanted to do things for her, I remembered that she was raised to be who she was, a slave. So when she found herself free it was hard to know how to behave. There was a time in the story where I wanted to KILL Jareth, but he redeemed himself (in a wonderful teary way). The sex was scorching hot and the plot really moved. I was caught from beginning to end. The secondary characters were fantastic. Cannot wait for Terr and Devil's stories. I LOVE DEVIL!!! I want Devil! LOL. All in all it was a very good read. I recommend it and hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
