4.0 out of 5 stars A great read 13 Jun 2003
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
I have read and enjoyed all of Barbara Nadel's previous novels, but Harem is by far my favourite. The colourful characters of Inspector Ikmen and his extended family and the descriptions of the darker corners of historic Istanbul make for some great reading. Eagerly awaiting the next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars I've waited a long time for this!!! 29 Sep 2003
Format:Paperback
At long last the latest from B.Nadel, a brilliant read, we are back in Istanbul and Cetin Ikmen is trying to solve not one but two murders, all the familiar characters, still similar but changing with each new book.
The writing is intriguing, exicting, and I feel as though I am there, I can smell the air, imagine the people and the story line is brilliant, I'll not spoil it for anyone but I do reccommend you buy this as soon as possible and settle down for a good nights read, I couldn't put it down.
