Beautifully crafted in 'Grade A' Yellow Balau Hardwood, the “Amalfi” Garden / Patio Sun Lounger is ideal for lazing by the pool on long, sunny afternoons, or for relaxing with a good book in the garden or conservatory.

Fully adjustable backrest - from upright to flat

Balau wood is generally used for heavy construction especially in humid conditions often where there is contact with the ground. We say the Balau wood used for this Sun Lounger is stronger and harder than many of the 'farmed Teak' Sun Loungers currently on offer at far higher prices.
Importantly, the Yellow Balau used for the manufacture of this sun lounger is legally harvested and fully approved, originating from government managed sustainable forests in S.E. Asia.
We recommend this product is oiled at the start and end of each season, thus ensuring many years of superb looks and service. We recommend Teak Oil which is readily available, easy to apply and quick drying

I bought two of these. The quality is great. They are far sturdier than anything I can buy in France for the same price.
They are easy to assemble and will look great on in any garden or on any patio. They do look more expensive than they were.
They do need to be treated regular if you wish them to stay looking good.
I would have scored these a 5 apart from the fact that the positioning of the back rest is just not correct.
It could do with an adjustment to make the back part of the lounger sit up more, it is too far back in my opinion.
My husband did adjust the wooden bars along the back bottom ledge to alter the position. This is not difficult if you or your husband is handy with a screwdriver. It does take a bit of time but it would not deter me from buying them again.
A lovely lounger well worth the money.

I could not believe how heavy the boxes were, I would suggest they put handle holes on the box as they are difficult to move with 2 people. Good news is with weight comes quality, these chairs are built to last, your grandchildren will enjoy these when the grow up. Every aspect of the sun chair is of top quality, the wood is solid, the wheels are solid wood. Use a cordless drill because the allen keys will dig into your fingers . I also bought the cushions which were just OK not great. I think for the money the cushions could have been thicker. Very happy with the chairs and I cant wait for the sun.
