3.0 out of 5 stars Save your money 21 Jan 2010
By PJ Rankine TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:DVD
After the promise of 'Men of Honour' and 'Pearl Harbour' Cuba Gooding continues his descent into B movie hell with this straight to dvd thriller. The premise is familiar, big corporations taking over the world and little people trying to take on them. Gooding plays an ex-special forces operative (what else?) who has a chip planted in his brain that allows the Hope Corporation to control his thoughts. To the rescue comes a brilliant but paraplegic hacker; another casualty of the corporation, who together with his father and a couple of cyber punks can block the signal and use our hero to bring down the corporation. The acting is ok, the fights and stunts are good but there's nothing new here. The good guys can upload info to Cuba to help him - ever seen the Matrix? Presented in full screen with a good audio track this is worth a rental if you're a fan or there's nothing better on the shelf but save your money and don't buy it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow & boring! 26 Nov 2010
By Mister
Format:DVD
If you have nothing else to watch on TV, I don't think you will really think that paying for the privilage would be OK, I would want to be paid to watch it. It is quite boring, the acting is a bit half hearted, & not very good for supposed profesionals. Not reallly worth buying. Sorry.
Mister.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good romp... 1 Nov 2010
By Paul
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
but does feel a bit like a TV series pilot - certainly entertaining enough as long as you aren't expecting too much. Plot is a bit cheesy in places, silly or too contrived in others and acting is a bit 2 dimensional, but certainly watchable.
