3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 5 Jun 2006
By Kenneth A. Mcbride (Glasgow, Scotland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This isn't a bad read as such, and some of the contributions from former ECW stars are interesting and/or funny, and certainly add a lot of colour to the proceedings. However, Williams' factual research really isn't up to much. He gets shows and dates confused, mixes up matches and angles from two or three different shows into one (making nonsense of often very detailed angles), and doesn't even mention the legendary Pitbulls/Raven & Richards 2/3 falls match - one of the best, most exciting matches in ECW history.

It's still worth reading if you're an ECW addict (and it will probably end up still being closer to the truth than the forthcoming WWE-produced book), but for the *real* history of ECW, John Lister's "Turning The Tables" is still THE book to read.
