Each recipe is illustrated in full colour and contains clear step by step instructions. There are some unusual ideas - chicken towers, salad faces and pineapple punch all sound delicious. The crown cookies are very attractive and the idea could be adapted for other occasions. Plenty here for all tastes, sweet and savoury and the selection is well balanced. Nancy Lambert's cook books are great for children and adults - the recipes are simple enough for children to follow, but the end product is something any adult would be pleased to produce.
