I bought this item thinking it would be a cheap and cheerful way of transferring saved games from my old Xbox to my new one, think again!! the CD included is useless and the software contained on it is detected by Mcafee as a trojan. Really wish I had just bought the official one in the first place. Would have saved of time and money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Like the previous reviewer, i purchased expecting a cheap no hassle way to transfer data over from one hard drive to another. Should have known! But then the £3 price tag should have given it away!
All you get is the cable in a bag with a small sticker stating not to plug straight into the Xbox console.... but it doesn't tell you how exactly to use it! It says a program can be downloaded from their website, tried this twice and it came up as an invalid file, plus there were no instructions on what to do once the program had been downloaded.
Do not buy this product. Though cheap it won't do anything and you risk messing up your hard-drive.

Unfortunately I purchased this item before the previous reviews were submitted, and I agree it's a complete waste of time...if only I knew before.
The instructions supplied stated I simply had to plug the transfer kit into my Xbox. However this did not work because the kit was a USB instead of a data cable and my Xbox would not accept it.
I had a backup option of downloading files from a website, but the disc I was provided with contained a Trogan Virus, so I wasn't prepared to take any chances.
I have since purchased the offical product which was hassle free, as soon as the data cable was connected my Xbox acknowledged it and my data was transferred within minutes.
I should have known the price was too good to be true, beware and don't make the same mistake, it's just not worth it.

Useless Junk

CRAP
it doesn't work on the new Xbox, and i had to then go and spend £15 to get the official one from a shop, i was very dissapointed
