I have read this book almost a dozen times now and I learn something new every time I read it. Most people see being single as a state in between relationships, but Liz helps us see how being single can be a permanent and very rewarding state. She provides plenty of examples - not difficult, since the number of single people is increasing every year. Being single does not have to mean being lonely. In fact, most single people have loads more friends than those who are in couples. It took me years - and two marriages - to come to terms with my naturally single state. Liz's book was a big help. Pity that Amazon has decided to include links to singles sites with her review. I recommend visiting a site like American Assoc. of Single People instead.
