To be honest I should have known, I bought the first season on DVD for like £2.99 on a sale, but I would not pay £13.99 for this, I rented it from amazon and although I did laugh and find them funny, I wouldn't pay that much for such lack of content.
thats the only thing I have a problem with, if they released like every episode they have made on one disc, then yeah maybe £13.99 is enough, but it is a bit of a waste of money for like 15 2-3 minute shorts. basically £1 per clip.

If you laugh histericly at Itchy and Scratchy on The Simpsons, you will probably laugh untill you suffocate if you watch this! It features many cute woodland animals having an innocent, story-book day turning into a complete nightmare. It has more blood than an NHS warehouse and is ingeniously written. It takes a good situation and turns it into a sickening tragedy that could really happen! For example, a troubled vietnam verteran bear comes into a burger bar and has flash-backs after seeing spilled sauce. He goes insane before impailing an innocent bunny (named Cuddles) with a straw and killing a chipmunk by shoving mustard bottles into her ears and firing it through her ears, and out of her nose and slamming a skunk's face onto a grill. Then you have no choice but to laugh... Also the DVD has an exclusive episode with 'Buddhist Monkey', combining Happy Tree Friends with The Matrix. The cartoons are brilliantly animated and funnier than any cartoon you will ever see in your life, if not you will find it brutal, cruel, and sickening.

What can I say if you love Happy Tree Friends as much as I do, you just can't be without the second volume. I'm still not sure if this is a good thing or not but the theme tune apears to be missing from between the short cartoons on this volume (I'm sure there must be a way of getting it back, but do you really want to hear it twenty or so times.
Only one thing left to say, WE WANT MORE NUTTY!
