I've just noticed that Amazon are now selling the Chucky chimp so I wont have to stockpile them anymore when I spot them online and just had to add my comments
The chucky chimp is the best dog toy ever...........................
My old goldies used to love them and they last so much longer than your average toy. The look on their faces when they were given a new one was a joy to behold. I've now introduced my very playful 2 year old Leonburger x to the joys of monkeydom and he loves his too although we do have to have quiet time occasionally as he will happily run around the room making monkey noises for what seems like hours.
Yes they do come apart eventually and my pup loves chewing the nose off but with careful mending you can make them last for ages and at £9.99 they are a bargain!!!

One of my dogs (the oldest rottweiler) loves this monkey - its his absolute favourite! I used to get them from Pets at Home but they have stopped taking them in. So I hunted through Amazon and finally found him a new one! I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning he is going to be so excited! Also with it being material if it does get ripped I just sew it back up so they last for ages.

Hello, I bought this toy for my border terrier, based on all the reviews I read. It sounded like a rough, durable long lasting toy!! Sadly this is not the case, in my experience.
I was so disappointed to discover that the chatter effect is a hard piece of plastic inserted inside the toy, which subsequently was crushed by my dog as he was playing with it.
The squeek still exists in this toy but the chatter was very weak and if my border terrier can damage it with his small jaws how on earth does a larger dog not do this?.
I was very disappointed that the chatter effect only lasted 30 mins, if that.
It seems that finding toys that really are hard wearing is very difficult. My dog should be the test pilot dog for all new toys that come onto the market. His test would undoubtedly deter any potential disappointment to both owner and dog

Not for Terriers!
Lovely soft toy with very realistic chimp noise. Unfortunately drove my terrier to distraction and toy destroyed within 10 minutes. Found the squeak in the stomach after the event. Read more

Very disappointed
