Book Description

27 Sep 2005 Happy Naturists
Andrii Litovchenko, photographer and director of the 'Kiev Commonwealth of Naturists' presents his second photobook, in which he documents the diverse naturist activities of his friends and his clubs members. These people, who love the simple life and who love it most when theyre nude and free in the out of doors, occupy the focal point of his photography. Of course, theres plenty of partying too, because socialising is written with a capital 'S' in the Ukraine! We accompany cheerful naturists into the sauna. We enjoy the fantastic landscapes of the Crimean Peninsula, where people are free to camp wherever they like. And we admire artworks painted on naked bodies. Andrii Litovchenko has created an honest book that invites each reader to take their own trip to the Ukraine.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Pleasing Look at Ukranian Nudism 2 Aug 2004
Format:Hardcover
Naturists of all ages and body types are celebrated here in this first publication from Andrii Litovchenko, the founder and president of KCN (Kiew Commonwealth of Naturists) in Ukraine. Litovchenko's photography is a simple documentary of the lifestyle and activities that go on at the club. Much of the work is similar to what one would find in almost any book of nudism; groups of sun lovers playing and frolicking and genuinely enjoying life au natural, but there is an noticeable focus on the beautiful young women of the organization and some of it is very probing and revealing. For example, there are numerous shots of young ladies with their legs spread, exposing their genitals in a completely uninhibited manner. This is not to suggest that Litovchenko's work is in any way gratuitous or exploitive, it was probably included just to give the book a little edge, and in no way detracts from the charm of the book as whole.

1.0 out of 5 stars don't waste your money 24 Jan 2006
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
Not worth a dime. Don't waste your money as it in no way reflects the idea of family naturism/way of life - its more a book of pictures of middle aged people engaging in body painting - in fact buy a book on body painting it will be money better spent!

The entire book is comprised of vibrant, color photography and consists of 128 pages. If living natural and nude is your thing, or even if just viewing others enjoying the lifestyle, then this book is sure to impress.
