    I had bought this as I had started weaning my daughter and was keen to encourage her to chew her food despite having no teeth. Thought this product was a clever idea - alas no!! In principle the idea is good but in practice it just doesn't work. The product is cumbersome for baby to hold and they tend to end up hitting themselves in the face with it. The net bag doesn't clean properly because as baby sucks and chews the food in the bag, the food becomes ground into the fibres of the bag and if a nightmare to clean!! Mine now sits in my daughters food cupboard and will not be used again. Don't buy it, spend your money on a bowl and spoon!!!

    When I read the first two negative reviews, I had to write this as my 8 months old baby loves it!!! Obviously, your baby needs to be able to hold properly an object in its hand to use it. Once it's the case, it is wonderful for extra hungry baby and teething babys. Mine loves apples and pears and loves bitting it with his first 2 teethes. In addition, he gets to taste raw fruits with all their vitamins and gets to start on biting food! GREAT INVENTION! However, wait until your baby is ready for it (6-7 months).

    It is indeed difficult to clean but if you wash it as soon as he has finished with it, it is ok.

    Ridiculously expensive and my child is not interested in it whatever I put in it. If you can borrow a friend's to try out first it might help you decide whether it is worth purchasing. Mine were a waste of money and are sitting in the cupboard! What a shame!
